AIS Environmental ltd. is the environmental arm of AIS Group, providing a spectrum of consultancy services related to the environment. Since its establishment in 1995, AIS Environmental has undertaken a number of environmental audits, studies and impact assessments and provided various consultancy services in waste management and contaminated land sectors.

Combined with extensive practical experience of facility development and an intimate understanding of the planning constraints, AIS Environmental Ltd. provides a balanced understanding of different technologies to protect the environment. Our broad understanding of all the technical, financial, environmental and legal issues, many of which are intrinsically inter-linked, are brought to bear on all projects that we undertake.

Managed by Ing. Mario Schembri, AIS Environmental Ltd. has a first hand knowledge of local environmental matters. Ing. Schembri has coordinated various environmental studies for the government of Malta, public agencies and the private industry. He was a co-founder of the Malta Institute of Waste Management and is currently the Chairperson of this Institute. A team of geologists, civil engineers, hydrologists, ecologists, archaeologists and other specialized professionals reputable in the local scene supports AIS Environmental Ltd. These scientists merge their intensive knowledge of their respective fields to provide a service of excellence. As pioneers of environmental consultancy in Malta, our team of specialists has compiled diverse project experience in regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, Environmental Impact Assessments, minimisation, management and processing of waste and management of natural resources.

The location of AIS Environmental Ltd. provides a strategic location for work throughout the Mediterranean region enabling companies such as SLR Consulting Group to utilise its services.
