 The protection of the marine environment is the responsibility of everyone. We must be conscious of the pollution threats to our waterways and oceans and the serious effects that may result.
In marine studies, the habitats studied include coral reefs, kelp forests, tidepods, muddy, sandy and rocky bottoms and the open sea, where solid objects are rare and the surface of the water is the only visible boundary. |

 The proposed power electrical generating plant consists of eight Wartsila 18V46 medium speed diesel engines capable of burning Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) and gasoil.
The proposed development is to be sited at the Delimara Power Station (DPS), within its existing boundaries, on an area designated for such a development in all published plans. The proposal is for an extension to the existing power plant.
When considering the environmental, social, economic and technical issues, Delimara has been proposed by Enemalta as being the only possible site for developing the proposed power plant extension. |
