TISs are necessary requirements for infrastructure proposals which will cater for significant amount of traffic or else that may have important traffic implications. AIS Environmental Ltd. has been involved in both the planning and assessment phases of these kinds of projects to provide traffic impact assessments and professional advice on the most appropriate traffic management measures.

AIS Environmental Ltd employs approved traffic experts supported by a team of traffic surveyors and equipped with both manual and automatic traffic counters in the preparation of these traffic studies.

AIS Environmental Ltd has carried out various traffic surveys at major road junctions in Malta and Gozo. These surveys were a fundamental study for the Feasibility and Environmental Impact Studies of the Trans-European Network (TEN-T), being amongst the major transport infrastructure projects in Malta and Gozo.
